Addison Wesley Longman Award
($500.00)
Sponsored by Addison Wesley Longman Publishers. one award in the amount of $500.00 will be given to a deserving developmental student each year at FDEA's annual conference. Applications may be submitted each year from January 1 until June 1, and the award will be presented at the annual FDEA conference.
The following criteria must be met by each applicant:

- Must attend a college with an institutional membership.
- Must have completed required reading and writing class(es).
- Must submit a current, official college transcript.
- Must submit two letters of recommendation (one from his/her developmental reading instructor).
- Must submit a typed essay describing how reading a specific book has influenced the student's life. This must be in
Word® document format, size 12 font.
Also, submit an additional copy of the essay via email attachment to the email address below.
- Must submit a photograph, or equivalent digital JPG file.
